My cats are pets and they have freedom in the house and are part of the family. I have always had cats since I was a child but it was when we took on two rescued Siamese my love of the breed developed. Now I only have Traditional or Classic Siamese also known as Thai cats, as I think they are the most beautiful! They have lovely temperaments, intelligent and very affectionate.

I have two rough collie dogs and the cats are often to be found snuggling up to their warm coats in the winter. I live on a farm with sheep, ducks, chickens and a miniature Shetland pony so the cats have plenty of space to have fun. However being such home lovers the cats never stray far from home.
My cats and kittens are every much people cats that like to talk and sit with you. They love company whether that be another Siamese or another cat, they do not like being left alone. They will often follow you around the house and 'talk' to you, making them excellent companions. If you want to have an indoor cat they can also be trained to walk on a harness. They are very expressive and clever; they can teach themselves how to open doors using the handles!
